Departed on Saturday, December 2, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11:00 at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, 701 Oglethorpe St. NW Washington, DC 20011.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family has asked for financial contributions to assist with establishing an educational scholarship in the honor of Doris S. Mitchell. Further, to assist in the celebratory spirit, the family is also asking all participants to honor Doris S. Mitchell by wearing her favorite color purple.
