I express my deepest condolences to Dr. Val's family and those close to her. She was a rock solid person, an inspiration, and a role model. I appreciate how she was there for the students and a wonderful support as a colleague. I am grateful to have worked with her for many years and also see how she shared her skills inside and outside work. I could see her strong presence in the choreography of the liturgical dancers at her service, also with their clear and very present expressions. It reminds me of how she took people in, with all of their emotions.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Val's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at Kingsbury and will always think of her vibrant and deeply caring soul. I called one of her students that she worked with and he fondly remembered her. She touched so many of us. My deepest sympathy to all who were lucky enough to be part of her life.

I met Dr.Val while working at Kingsbury Day school way back when. She was such a warm person, always smiling and loved the kids. May her soul find perpetual rest.

Dr. Val was one of a kind. She always had a smile and always had words of encouragement for students and staff no matter what. She loved to eat healthy, exercise (dance) share her recipes, and her knowledge. She believed in me and I will never forget the kind words she shared with me during my difficult times. She was well loved and respected by her students and coworkers at The Kingsbury Center. We will miss her, but may she continue to rest on.
Many Blessings and Much Love
Laura

Val and I went to Pitt together and the first thing I noticed when I met her was her beautiful spirit. She has now presented herself before God and He will be pleased. May she rest in eternal peace.

The legacy of my friend of 43 years shall always be remembered, as she "praise dances" in heaven!
