I went by your moms house yesterday because I thought that was your truck outside and the lady told me that Doris had passed. I am so sorry to hear for your loss and the loss of your brother Tony. Please know that if I had know I would have come to the service. Take care of yourself and I hope to see you soon. Love Jody and Family.

To Bud and Family of Mrs. Haywood,
I was so sorry to learn of Mrs. Haywood's passing! She was always one of my favorite teachers at Bluff City! Her radiant smile and graciousness will be sorely missed, I enjoyed reconnecting with her and spending time with her on my visits to D.C. In recent years, I will miss our conversations about Pembroke and Pearisburg happenings, but I know she will now be spending time with an even better and wiser conversationalist! She has answered her call to come home! May she Rest In Peace!
