My condolences to Brucie family. I knew him in high school and used to run into him at functions in Frederick and also at Urbana football games. He always had a smile and was a
very sweet man. I am glad he is not in pain anymore, may he RIP

In remembrance of my friend, classmate, teammate, I'm sending my prayerful condolences to his family. Greatest memories from 9th to 12th grade are of Ivan, a TRUE PT Guard @ Gaithersburg High. He was the best defender at his position. Brucie was a great competitor and a leader. Our victory over Richard Montgomery HS at Richard Montgomery HS was one my fondest memories. He was the stabilizing force in his position. His ability to steal and handle the ball overall enabled us with that victory to shock the County! I will always be grateful to have been able to call him my friend. Ernest Clipper & family

We may have lost touch since high school, but Bruce was FAMOUS for his athletic prowess back then ! He amazed us all ! A true athlete that was as funny and nice off the field as he was amazing on it. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends who had to say goodbye so soon. God bless and keep you.

We all must leave this earth sooner or later. Bruce has left but for family and friends there are sweet memories that we can hold on to. A couple my most vivid memories of Bruce are that 65 yard punt return for touchdown early in the game against the mighty Rockets of Richard Montgomery. Made us think we could win that day. The second is an image I have of Bruce strutting down hallway of Gaithersburg High with one pants leg rolled up, sharpened pencil behind his ear and books under his arm. The consummate student athlete. Always with a quick wit and a positive story. A great guy who will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace brother.

When I remember Bruce, I will always think of the ways he tried to help others succeed. He gave us his advice, he sacrificed for us, and he asked for very little in return. He was happiest when those he loved were successful. He was my good friend and I will miss him forever. My deepest sympathy to his family, especially his children Felicia, Gary, and Idie, his father, sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and the many friends he gathered through the years. Rest in peace, Mr. Gray.

My sympathy to Bruce's family. I miss Bruce! When I was diagnosed w/ cancer myself , Bruce would console me and always question me as to how I was doing. We supported each other in that way. We became friends. He had a big heart and was a genuinely good man! God Bless him! Johnny G.
